We are a small cage-less DNA PKD negative Cattery that is licensed by the State of Colorado and follows State and City of Aurora guidlines. Yearly licensing fees do apply to us. What does it take for a Queen to produce healthy kittens... A life style of proper nutrition, grooming and wellness check-ups are a necessity. are needed for a breeding queen and Sire plus yearly well vet check ups to keep cats at their optimal health level for breeding. When inquiring about a kitten or retired adult we would like you to introduce yourself and tell us a bit about you and your family and your experience with pets... this information is very helpful to us. We raise our kittens for 17-19 weeks before they leave us... they cannot go to a new home any sooner! A kitten any younger will get very stressed going to a new home and and then it is likely to develop a life threatening illness. We take extensive time to help the kitten to develop to start off on the right foot in his new home! This extra time takes many work hours and is expensive for me to do!!! This particular breed is a delicate breed that develops slower than a mixed breed of cat.. care per day needed includes feeding, clean water, combing, a bath per cat or kitten every 4-7 days...litter box cleaning needed every day for cats and kittens to prevent disease...We perform a 2 step disinfecting procedure on a daily basis. We also clean and disinfect litter pans, water fountains and food bowls every day... laundry is a daily event!.. We also do all our own grooming....this is very time consuming for us! We would like to hire help sometimes... Even though we are a hobby breeder that has negative cash flow... we hire cleaning help to help us with all the things that need to be done every day! because we are a negative cash flow hobby and not a business and we will pay upwards of 50 dollars or more per hour for help... Pricing for each kitten are from 1850.00 and up to 2600.00 pricing is different for each kitten pricing is subject to change this includes spay or neuter and age appropriate vaccines paired with deworming for parasites this management is very time consuming. 2 vet check-ups during the raising time per kitten is needed for advice and for wellness check ups this is costly $100 to $200 just for advise and a minimal check up...from the vet...but very necessary. We do not ship in air cargo it has been banned by several main airlines that will not ship flat faced animals. We use a pet nanny the service is a white glove type of service cost is from $650 and up airlines do charge a separate charge for a one-way ticket for the pet which varies from each airline for transporting state to state USA only.
